The main character Tony Soprano played by the talented James Gandolfini, wore probably the most famous Rolex Day Date "President" on television. It was a 18k yellow gold model and never left his wrist the entire series.

Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero played by Vincent Pastore, also wore a Rolex Day Date but his was more elaborate with a full diamond bezel and red dial with diamond indices.
Apart from Rolex other watch brands have featured during the show. Tony's underling Christopher Moltisanti played by Michael Imperioli had a taste for watches as well. From what I could tell his character went through various Cartier models during his time on the show.

Patek Philippe was featured in one episode. It was the model 5037 gifted to Carmela's cousin for helping Tony with a housing deal

An Oris watch was worn by the character Vito Spatafore played by Joseph R. Gannascoli. It was able to be clearly identified on a close up shot in the episode Moe 'n' Joe.
Update 11/04/14: I had my memory refreshed by a friend who posted a pic of his Rolex Daytona. A Rolex Daytona appeared on the wrist of the character Albert Barese
Nick, did you know the Oris Worldtimer (actually is a Dual Time) movement design belonged to Ulysee Nardin? The calibre is unique and not seen in any other second tier brand. It has a controversial history worth researching on. Worthy of being included in any serious collection.
ReplyDeleteHi Harry. I wasnt aware of that! So that makes the Oris piece value for money then since it has a great movement. Thanks for pointing it out
ReplyDeleteHi guys! Can u tell me what kind of watch does Vito spatafore has on S06E04 during the scene when he eats baby carrots? Thanks
