At the upcoming Sothebys Watch Auction there are 3 Patek Philippes coming up for sale that are really rare. Now we are not talking about stainless steel models. We are talking about titanium pieces. Patek Philippe have made titanium models for charitable organisations in the past, such as the Ref 5004T Perpetual Calendar Splits Seconds for Only Watch.
These new discovered pieces are completely bonkers!
The collector who ordered these pieces had to have some serious stroke with Patek Philippe. The first is a Sky Moon Tourbillon, a watch with a $1 million dollar price tag in precious metal. This piece is in TITANIUM! The back has East, North and West spelled out instead of the regular model having E,N & W. Really frickin cool!
Beautiful engraving on the Titanium Case |
The second piece is a Annual Calendar and Minute Repeater also in TITANIUM!
The third and final piece is a Celestial also in TITANIUM!
